By accessing or using this website and any service provided by Pilates Equipment Care, its owners, employees, or affiliates, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. Scheduling or accepting services constitutes agreement to these Terms.

HEALTH & SAFETY
If anyone at your service location is feeling unwell, experiencing symptoms of illness, contagious, or recovering from a contagious condition, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. This ensures a safe, respectful environment for all clients and your technician. Our technician will do the same for you to protect the health and safety of those at your location.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY
Pilates Equipment Care may identify equipment that is unsafe and recommend repairs; however, the final decision to repair, replace, or continue using equipment, and any resulting risk, remains solely the responsibility of the Client.

SERVICE DISCLAIMER
Pilates Equipment Care is not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural weaknesses, manufacturer defects, or failures that become apparent during or after service. Services are performed based on the observable condition of the equipment at the time of service. Pilates Equipment Care does not manufacture the equipment and makes no guarantee or warranty regarding future performance or safety. Ongoing maintenance, proper use, and safe operation remain the sole responsibility of the Client.

Equipment condition reflects age, prior use, and existing components; service cannot restore equipment to “like new” condition.

Equipment is assessed individually based on its current state and usage.

Wear is influenced by usage patterns, instruction style, client load, and environmental conditions.

Variability is expected, even among equipment in the same location.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Not all mechanical issues can be resolved. While we may consult additional technicians, manufacturers, or other experts as needed, resolution is not guaranteed. All troubleshooting time is billable.

SERVICE ESTIMATES
Initial estimates are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed. Estimates are based on number of technician(s) working, number of hours estimated on-site, travel, and supplies. Billing occurs in 30-minute increments after the first hour on-site. On-site time begins upon arrival. Clients will be notified if additional time is required before completion. Final costs may vary based on issues identified during service.

  • Time estimates are not guaranteed, but every effort will be made to meet or beat them.

  • Clients will be notified in advance if additional time or repairs are needed.

  • No extra work will be performed without prior client approval.

  • A detailed summary of identified issues and recommended repairs will be provided.

PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is due at time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Invoices are due within 14 days.
Late payments may incur a fee of up to 20% of total estimate price. Continued service may be paused until outstanding balances are resolved.

PRICING
Pilates Equipment Care reserves the right to modify prices and transition from free to paid services at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes affecting their services or plans before any charges apply.

Ongoing maintenance plans and White-Glove Concierge service plans are available and pricing is custom to each plan.

Parts are not included unless explicitly stated.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds are not available for services rendered.

By scheduling service, clients acknowledge and agree to these cancellation terms.
Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee of total estimate price.
Client ‘no-show’ is considered a cancellation within 24 hours and will incur 50% cancellation fee of total estimate price.

USE OF WEBSITE MATERIALS
All website content, including text, graphics, databases, HTML code, products, blog posts, and articles, is copyrighted and protected under U.S. and international copyright laws. No content may be copied, reprinted, published, reengineered, translated, hosted, or distributed without explicit permission.

LIABILITY WAIVER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Services are available only where they are legally permitted. By accepting services from Pilates Equipment Care, the Client agrees to the following:

  • Pilates Equipment Care’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to services provided is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific service visit giving rise to the claim.

  • Client releases, waives, and holds harmless Pilates Equipment Care, including its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising out of or related to the services provided, including the use or continued use of the equipment after service.

  • Client acknowledges that Pilates equipment is mechanical and subject to ongoing wear. No guarantee or warranty is made regarding future performance or safety.

  • Client assumes full responsibility for the proper use, operation, and ongoing maintenance of all equipment following service.

  • Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pilates Equipment Care, including its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to the Client’s use, misuse, modification, or continued use of equipment after service.

  • In no event shall Pilates Equipment Care be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Client acknowledges that services are performed in good faith based on visible and accessible conditions only, and hidden or latent defects may exist.

THIRD PARTY LINKS AND MARKS
This website may contain links to third-party sites for convenience. Pilates Equipment Care is not responsible for their content. Access to third-party sites is at the user’s own risk. Unauthorized copying or modification of trademarks or website content may result in legal action.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Pilates Equipment Care reserves the right to refuse service to any individual for any reason, provided that refusal is not based on race, creed, color, religion, sex and sexual orientation, national origin, marital status, gender identity, physical disability, or other protected characteristics under California law.
