By accessing or using this website and any service provided by Pilates Equipment Care, its owners, employees, or affiliates, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

HEALTH & SAFETY
If anyone at your service location is feeling unwell, experiencing symptoms of illness, or recovering from a contagious condition, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. This ensures a safe, respectful environment for all clients and your technician. Our technician will do the same for you to protect the health and safety of those at your location.

YOU ARE ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE
Pilates Equipment Care may identify equipment that is unsafe to use and make service recommendations, but the final decision to proceed with repairs or continued equipment use is the responsibility of the Client.

SERVICE DISCLAIMER
Pilates Equipment Care is committed to providing high-quality maintenance and repair services. Every effort will be made to fulfill your needs and meet expectations. However, the following conditions apply:

  • Equipment usage varies by instructor style, client demographics, class schedule, and environment (e.g., sun exposure, humidity), which affects wear and tear. Even equipment within the same studio may age differently.

  • While I aim to identify visible defects and educate staff when appropriate, I cannot control how your equipment is used or the quality of parts supplied or currently installed.

  • Equipment is assessed individually, and services are tailored to your studio’s unique usage patterns.

TROUBLESHOOTING
As is the nature of any mechanical contraption, sometimes there is a problem the technician cannot figure out. In these situations, we do our best to get assistance from our network of Pilates equipment technicians, the equipment manufacturer, or other relevant experts to solve the problem. However, we cannot guarantee a solution or “fix” in every instance.

SERVICE ESTIMATES
Initial estimates are for reference only and are not guaranteed. Estimates are based on one technician working, and billing occurs in 30-minute increments after the first hour. Clients will be notified if additional time is required before completion. Final costs may vary based on issues identified during service.

  • Time estimates are not guaranteed, but every effort will be made to meet or beat them.

  • Clients will be notified in advance if additional time or repairs are needed.

  • No extra work will be performed without prior client approval.

  • A detailed summary of identified issues and recommended repairs will be provided.

PAYMENTS
Payment is due at time of service. A down payment may be required. An invoice will be sent within 24 hours of service, with NET 14 terms.

At this time, payment is accepted by cash, check, Zelle or Venmo.

Late payments may incur additional fees or interest. Continued service may be paused until outstanding balances are resolved.

PRICING
Pilates Equipment Care reserves the right to modify prices and transition from free to paid services at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes affecting their services or plans before any charges apply.

Ongoing maintenance plans and White-Glove Concierge service plans are available and pricing is custom to each plan.

Parts are not included unless explicitly stated.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds are not available on work performed.

By scheduling service, clients acknowledge and agree to these cancellation terms.

Cancellations must be made in writing at least three (3) business days in advance. For equipment service appointment cancellations:

  • Cancellations made within 48-24 hours will incur a 25% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Client ‘no-show’ is considered a cancellation within 24 hours and will incur 50% cancellation fee.

USE OF WEBSITE MATERIALS
All website content, including text, graphics, databases, HTML code, products, blog posts, and articles, is copyrighted and protected under U.S. and international copyright laws. No content may be copied, reprinted, published, reengineered, translated, hosted, or distributed without explicit permission.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Information on this website is for informational purposes only and may change without notice. Pilates Equipment Care is not liable for any decisions made based on this information. Services are available only where they are legally permitted.

LIABILITY RELEASE STATEMENT
By accepting service from Pilates Equipment Care, you voluntarily release, discharge, and hold harmless Pilates Equipment Care, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or damages arising from the cleaning, maintenance, repair, or adjustment of your Pilates equipment, including the use of your Pilates equipment after cleaning, maintenance, repairs, or adjustments. You acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring the safe and proper use of your equipment following service, and you waive all known and unknown claims, damages, liabilities, and causes of action related to any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from these services.

THIRD PARTY LINKS AND MARKS
This website may contain links to third-party sites for convenience. Pilates Equipment Care is not responsible for their content. Access to third-party sites is at the user’s own risk. Unauthorized copying or modification of trademarks or website content may result in legal action.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Pilates Equipment Care reserves the right to refuse service to any individual for any reason, provided that refusal is not based on race, creed, color, religion, sex and sexual orientation, national origin, marital status, gender identity, physical disability, or other protected characteristics under California law.
